    Monthly Ministry Theme:
    Atonement

October 22 "Dreamers: Hand in Hand"
    Worship Leader:  Reverend Carolyn Patierno
Guest Preacher: Rev. Dr. Claudia Highbaugh

In the past few months we have had a few shocks to our cultural, domestic, spiritual and physical lives. Personally, as a child of the sixties raised in a full twenty-year generation of confrontation and progress, segregation and diversity, racist hate and marching for peace, I feel that we have lost ground.

This Sunday we will think together by way of vignettes and memories, of how to keep on moving, working and living for grace, peace and reliance. If you can work with me, I can with you to continue the work of learning how to live with patience, kindness and most importantly...HOPE!

Reverend Dr. Highbaugh is the Dean of the Office of Religious and Spiritual Life at CT College.

October 29 "When Shock Meets Grief"
    Annual Ritual of Remembrance
    Worship Leader:  Reverend Carolyn Patierno

In some ways, grief is unique and specific.  In the wake of a sudden, unexpected death there is also a generous portion of shock that is different and oftentimes even lonelier for those who mourn this particular loss.  We’ll consider how we may be present for ourselves and others when shock meets grief.

Halloween Party following the first service.

    Black Lives Matter Public Witness
between Sunday services, rain or shine.

TUE
Meditation
7:15 AM to 8:30 AM
Everyone is most welcome! The Meditation Group meets twice weekly: at 7:15 a.m. on Tuesday mornings and at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday evenings. Basic guidelines are offered to all newcomers, and guided mediation is offered during some of the sessions.

Each session includes silent sitting mediation, walking mediation, and dharma sharing, in which folks may share their meditation experiences. On most second Wednesdays, our coordinator offers guided meditation with the body, from 5:00 to 5:30 pm. Attendance is free but donations are gratefully accepted.

Quiet Time with Singing Bowls
7:00 PM to 8:30 PM
The tones produced by Himalayan singing bowls can be a unique entry into a place of calm, peace, healing, and harmony. .
If you have never heard several singing bowls played together, you have never really heard singing bowls.

Please consider joining John Irwin, who has been playing singing bowls for over three years, each Tuesday evening at All Souls from 7 to 8:30 p.m. for a period of peace and relaxation.

All are welcome.

Craft Circle
7:00 PM
We are an inclusive social group of adults interested in crafts. We gather with each other on Wednesday evenings to work on our own current personal projects. Whatever the skill: knit, crochet, needlepoint, zentangle, sewing, quilting, beadwork, cross-stitch, scrapbooking, we are willing to teach what we know to others.

Childcare is not provided. Come and be with us as your schedule permits: once a week or once a month, whatever works for you.
